Generally speaking yes.
Provided it isn't obvious it is just the owner spamming.
Or there is affiliate links involved.

Even then you have to read between the lines.

Why not?
Webmasters share their experiences dealing with this or that company.. you can get to know how helpful support team is, how knowledgeable it is, etc.

Reviews are helpful when choosing a web host for running of your sites.

Yes reviews are good to read as one can get enough information about a hosting company from there. so one must read reviews on third party websites..

One reason would be that they can be false, and many of them are. They are either planted by the host itself or by people it hired to do the job (in the case of positive reviews), or by competitors, disgruntled employees or unstable customers (almost wrote "unstable patients" there). Without a good validation process in place, abuse will be rampant.

Then you have the hosting reviews sites, most of which are merely doing a sales job, adding no value to the internet.
