WORST Webhost I've ever been with was APAC Hosting: www.apachost.com

Their domain rego and webhosting support is terrible. Waiting for weeks and weeks for a support ticket to be replied too, (on the few occassions they bother replying) leaves you in an awful situation with your hosting and domain issues. In general the quality of the overall package just isn't worth the stress.

There are plenty of great webhosts out there. I'm just glad that I have 95% of my my sites with a really reliable company - and didn't jump ship with all them to APAC. Phew!

That sounds like an service to stay away from indeed.

As per the rules, please share a domain that you host/have hosted with them.

I'm still sorting out stuff with them now.  Sad ... it's taking months to get this mess sorted out.  It's an insult.

Thank you for the info sent by PM. I confirm that the domains you have provided are still hosted by apachost.

Yes, unfortunately...

Frankly I'm disgusted with them.  I think it stinks that a company can mess people around like this. Some of the folk that I've spoken too - that are in the same situation as me with APAC - have decided to give up on getting their sites and domains back and are really upset about it.

I can only agree. It's one of the reasons I've always advocated for using a company to register domains, and another one for hosting. With no connection between them, there's little reason for the company to cling to  your possesions.

This was part of an internet marketing package - otherwise I would never have used it or have gone against the reliable companies I usually use. I'm kicking myself now. At least if was smaller sites and not my main sites that bring in the income. Phew! :-)

Thanks, Dan, for offering a forum like this. I'm sure it'll help save time and stress for folk participating.

It didn't take me long to find in Google - I was looking for folk who may have had the same problem that I had with Apac.
