I want to share with you a little thing that happened to my wife and I this past Friday. Everything started on Easter day when I called some friends of mine (husband and wife) to say "Happy Easter!". After a few words, my wife and I were invited to go over to their house for dinner in a couple of weeks. We accepted the invitation, bought some pop, my wife made some dessert that we think is really good, and here we go, ready for the visit.

We arrived, rang the door bell, and after about 10 seconds they came to the door with a face kind of like  Roll Eyes They forgot that we were coming. Smiley They realized the moment the bell rang, but obviously it was too late. They quickly changed and took us out to a restaurant in order to save "the date". I felt bad because they were tired (I was able to see it on their faces) and it was fine if we were to reschedule, but that didn't happen. Anyway, weird situation. Smiley

I don't know if this happened to any of you before, but for me it was completely new. Smiley

Amusing, albeit embarrassing situation. Smiley Serves as proof that dates should be arranged closer to the present. We all live busy lives, and forget.

There's a first time for everything I guess. Smiley

Thanks for sharing!

Yup, and we had a great time. They didn't let us go even after we were done eating at the restaurant. They took us back home where we played a few games and talked some more. They are very nice people. Smiley
