I am looking for a good design free template to use on Powerpoint for my english project. I tried using search engines, but i come up with nothing but not so good ones, just really plain. Oh and i'm using Powerpoint 2000, so i believe anything past 2000 wouldn't work on mine.

Unfortunately I don't know of any, but I can suggest you again to ask the same question over at sitepointforums.com,  if you didn't already. It's a large webmasters community and someone there might know just the templates website for you.

What exactly you are looking in the templates. Designing in powerpoint should be simpler by it self.

PowerPoint has great templates built into it. Maybye you should look at those.
