For servers with clients I use cPanel as IMO it is the industry standard in that most clients while they may not "need" cPanel they want it.

For servers I use for backups and messing around with scripts etc I use Kloxo.

At home I use Webmin.

Well, I suppose that cPanel control panel is the best and most preferable one.
it has so many useful functions - highly recommend it.

Plesk for windows and cpanel for linux , is my choice always , they are user friendly , and easy to mange the hosting..

For starter Linux cPanel is the best option.
