Hello everyone,

I need a very small VPS plan for a forum.

1 GB space.

20-25 GB bandwidth.

Reliability & 100/99.99% uptime

With support against DDOS attack.

My budget $10/below. I can even do without domain name.

Is there any place I can get this.  Sad

I hope I dont sound  Idiot

Please do help me.

The only company that comes to mind with VPS (or VPS-like) service would be westhost.com. It's really more of a melange between shared hosting and VPS as it doesn't come with guaranteed memory etc. I can't comment on their quality though.

A typical VPS would be impractically small at $10 and under.

However, at $10 and pushing under 20-25GB with a forum, most shared hosting providers that know how to manage their servers should be able to accommodate you, assuming that your traffic is relatively linear (no huge traffic spikes).

A small VPS will come with very little memory (at $10). That can make it hard for a forum with a decent amount of visitors to run fine.

10$ for a VPS is gonna be tight, but should be possible.

Did you find a provider?

Before to make your final decision, try to do Google search on the company's domain name you are going to deal with.
Also read hosting reviews of the current hosting provider...

To become more web host–oriented read independent web hosting reviews that are known to be of high quality and the most up-to-date. They contain information regarding affordable web hosting firms.

I would recommend you to choose a host who understands your specific needs, and who can sit down with you and talk about what your needs are, and how that host can accommodate for those needs.

I believe that Server location plays an important part in terms of speed connectivity.
choose the server that is close to the target of your audience.
