Thank you Thomas for another great review!
A 1 year dotcom registration is $34.99 with NetworkSolutions, there are many reputable registrars charging under $10. I couldn't justify spending over three times the "going" rate to stay with NetworkSolutions.
They're still charging $35 for a domain? I was under the impression that they lowered that price to something like $20. I suppose I made a confusion with Register.com
So in short, if money doesn't matter NetworkSolutions is great, if you're watching the budget (like me) pick one of the other registrars that provide the same quality for a lot less.
You make the choice so simple!

EDIT: After checking things, it look like I was wrong on both assumptions: both Register.com and NetworkSolutions charge $35 for a one year registration of .com domains. Discounts are available for longer period registrations.
