I am pissed off and i'm glad to have found a forum where I can inform others about the scam run by heartbeat host.

While I was searching for a good hosting company that could provide me with one webhosting space to host my 6 domains, heartbeat host seemed like a serious company. Upon signing up and making a payment, most often, a sales rep calls to confirm the details.

But that was just a facade they put up. I've had my websites hosted with them for close to a year now and most often, the connection is too slow or since recently, their servers have been down at regular intervals. When faced with these problems, I contacted customer care and they always seem to have an answer ready. Either their servers were under too much load or there was a UPS breakdown at one of their data centers.

Now, when you pay close to $80 you do expect some level of service and so much for their tall claims of 99.9% up time.

Of the websites I host with them, I have a podcast website and thanks to their lethargic servers, i'm stuck. Don't even consider using heartbeat host and fall for their false claims. I'm pulling out all my websites from them and good riddance.

Oh and for those more interested, please find below the exchange of emails between me and customer care:

Oh Yes, I AM SHOUTING. I wouldn't SHOUT if I didn't pay a dime for using your services. And how dare you tell me what and what not to do?

P.S: I have also posted a review for you guys at webhostingreviews.com and I very well will make a copy of this email conversation on the forums too.

I do not care whose fault it was. As far as I know I PAY YOU MONEY and I EXPECT good service in return.

I need a resolution to this and also a compensation and I will not stop until I get them.

Dear Sir,

First of all have in mind that the usage of CAPS is considered as shouting and that I do NOT appreciate it! With all my respect but it is not our fault that our data center experienced a power failure ! It is a hard moment for all of us so please keep your anger as this will not get this solved faster, thank you!

Best Regards,
Pete

You guys always have a ready made answer don't you? The last time I contacted someone on chat, I was told the servers were under heavy load and now this.

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE BIG PROMISES YOU GUYS MAKE ON YOUR WEBSITE? I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY F****** REASON WHATSOEVER. I NEED TO BE COMPENSATED FOR THE DOWNTIME BECAUSE OF YOUR F****** FAULT.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting our Technical Support Department.

The reason for the problem now is due to a partial UPS failure in our Fremont data center.
A phone call was placed immediately to our service company for them to dispatch an authorized technician to troubleshoot the UPS failure while simultaneously starting troubleshooting of the failure on-site.
The Operations Team is engaged and currently working on resolving the situation. Thank you for your time and understanding regarding this matter.

Best Regards,
Pete

The latest I get from customer service is below:
-----------------
Sir,

I will not tolerate such a rude behavior! This is NOT the correct way of communication with people that you have contacted for support! If you continue with this tone I will suspend your hosting account for a violation of our Terms.

As I have explained the problem is due to circumstances that are not under our control. The last update that we have received is that : We have identified and replaced the hardware surrounding the partial power outage in the Fremont Data Center, however it will take some time to get the servers back and fully operational.

Best Regards,
Pete

So ive been threated that my accounts would be suspended simply because i'm raving mad their service. And on top of it, I pay for using their services. Wow Pete, this only gets better and better.
