I have no such knowledge, but you could try to ask over at dnforum.com. It's a more populated place, and focused on domain names.

Seems you are talking of domain registration. I think most registrars should be reliable and hassle free as their isnt much in domains reselling to create hassles. Money order however? Where are you based.

You may need to look for some local hosting company instead if you cannot pay using credit card or other electronic banking / transactions.
