Hello

I need advise from experienced people with hosting.

For a site similar to myspace.com

Registered 30,000 profiles and for example 3,000 users logging in at same time in 1 hour.

Does a VPS 1 gb ram can handle it or i will have to use dedicated server?

Thanks in Advance

That seems like a good amount of traffic and a community on its way to further popularity. I'd go for dedicated or truly high end VPS.

Of course, I have no idea what the software behind the site uses in terms of memory and CPU, so this is little more than a guess.

I believe that the best way to know this is to contact their support directly and get all the things cleared..
They will find a perfect fit for your needs.

VPS with 1 gb RAM can handle this much load but the performance will be not upto the mark. So go for a dedicated server. Obviously you will be needing a lot of resources
