Well, this "affliction" seems to run in the family. For me, it seems to come from my father's side, but not directly.

I can't tell you what it is that makes me postpone things. My guess is that it is a combination of lack of motivation, lack of energy, even nervousness at times. More seriously, it might be laziness. Smiley

So, do you procrastinate? Why? How often?

From what I think about myself and from what others said about me, I tend to be quite strict when I set something in my mind. If I say to myself that I'm waking up at a certain hour to go downtown and solve some type of problem, then I set my alarm and when it goes off, I'm jumping out of bed.

That is true everytime, unless I am that tired I can't hear the alarm. Smiley

I know I had my times when I was a procrastinator, but I really can't find an example at the moment. I guess that confirms my previous statement that I don't do it very often. Smiley My guess is that you are not the only one behaving that way. Some other people might confirm or prove me wrong.

Oh, when it comes to getting out of bed there's no way I'm not going to postpone it several times in a row. I even postpone getting out of the appartment to do serious things, like signing papers at the bank etc. I'm a mental case. Grin

I am now with my fiancee and I tell you, it's hard if not impossible to postpone anything. We are getting ready for the wedding and oh boy, there are A LOT of things to do. Smiley It's fun though.

So, who knows, maybe after you marry your girlfriend and go through this stage, you will be cured by the procrastination "desease". Smiley I must say that the fact that I don't really suffer from it, helped me now.
