I don't think that adding images will be of much value. Real, human readable content is what really counts.

It's may works if your web site relate to picture, photo, wallpaper. I see in my site analytic and see some visitor come to my site when they search picture. Grin

Finding the right kind of image is incredibly important. Great images can add another dimension to an article or page that can encourage people to share the page and create some great backlinks

some images in the article and related to the article is very nice for SEO because alt tag on images is very important for the good ranking in the search engine

From SEO Point of view adding of more images is not viable as it unecessary loads the file. And this images cannot be read by search engines.

Images just ad beauty in the search engines otherwise they don't give benefit to the search engines and sometimes heavy images don't let upload files and are unnecessary for the search engines so it's better to avoid them.

I could say that adding more and more images will not definitely help you instead it makes your website load slow. If your website is about images then well you can go ahead, otherwise limit your images per web page.
