Update:

Experiment ended since no guests have taken the opportunity to post without registering, except a couple of spam bots. Since a bot started to repeatedly post adult spam in a certain thread, it's probably best to take away the priviledges that guests were given before things get much worse.

In all, I'd say this was quite a positive discussion though, and it has lead to some very nice ideas, for which I thank you all.

To increase forum activity just allow guests to post 2-3 posts and then if they want to contribute more to the discussion they can do so by registering them.
