Additional competitive advantages for hosting packages.

As far as I see each hosting company uses various methods to make customers buy their domains. They can provide free domains, free Fantastico scripts, website building software, templates etc. I am planning to launch my hosting company really soon. Also I think to include free internet marketing services in some hosting packages.  I am just wondering if such internet marketing program can be considered as a significant competitive advantage stimulating customers to make a purchase? What do you think about this idea? Thanks in advance!

I think, at this point, some of the things you mentioned really aren't competitive advantages anymore - Fantastico, website building software, and templates are standard for most companies, so they are pretty much must haves for your start up.  Fortunately, most companies include this software in their reseller accounts, so you will be able to offer it to your customers without having to worry about licensing fees.  As for selling or offering domains free with hosting plans, some companies offer domain reseller accounts with their reseller plans, or they could be included with billing software like WHMCS.  As for including internet markteing in your packages, this would be really great idea, as alot of companies don't offer it in their packages, or charge an extra fee for it.  So, its definitely something you could offer to your clients to set yourself apart from the competition, and I would certainly recommend making that one of your major selling points.

Internet marketing will be good. Apart from Internet market offer something like nice template/customize service for their form/cms/blog. But involves money or your time as a designer or both.

Its a good option though, while you can add additional free services, like logos, and banners with each package, as per your requirements this way people can be attracted to your hosting company.
